Our Dedicated Staff
At Light Years Ahead, we believe that the qualifications and continuous training of our staff are essential to providing the highest quality care and education for your child. Here's an overview of our staff qualifications and training programs:
- Education and Credentials: All of our staff members, including lead teachers who hold or are working towards a CDA credential or equivalent degree, assistant teachers with at least a high school diploma who are pursuing further education, are carefully selected through rigorous screening processes, certified in CPR and First Aid, and have completed at least 45 hours of education as required by the Florida Department of Children and Families (DCF).
- Professional Experience: Our teachers to pursue higher education in early childhood education and support them in achieving advanced degrees and certifications.
- Certifications: Staff are certified in CPR, First Aid, and child safety, ensuring a secure environment for all children.
- Passion and Creativity: Our highly qualified and deeply committed staff creates a nurturing and inclusive environment, promotes a culture of respect, kindness, and empathy, and prioritizes effective communication and collaboration with parents to ensure a strong partnership in your child's care and education.
